  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Fresh garlic preferred
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger Fresh ginger preferred
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes Adjust to taste
  • cooked rice for serving Use fluffy rice
  • chopped green onions for garnish For presentation

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add minced garlic, soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, ground ginger, and red pepper flakes. Stir to combine and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through.
  3. Serve over cooked rice and garnish with chopped green onions.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. For longer storage, freeze in a freezer-safe bag for up to 3 months. When reheating, warm gently in a skillet or microwave.
