Preparation
- Preheat the oven as directed on the biscuit package and bake until golden brown. Once baked, let cool and cut into bite-sized pieces.
- In a large skillet, brown the turkey sausage over medium-high heat until fully cooked; then remove it from the pan and set aside.
Making the Gravy
- In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Whisk in flour until smooth to create a roux.
- Slowly pour in the milk, whisking constantly until the mixture thickens into a gravy.
- Stir in salt, pepper, and garlic powder, then return the sausage to the pan and mix well.
Cooking the Eggs
- In a separate non-stick pan, whisk the egg whites and whole eggs together. Scramble until set.
Assembly
- Divide the cooked biscuit pieces evenly into 5 meal prep containers.
- Top each portion with scrambled eggs and pour the sausage gravy over it.
- Allow the bowls to cool completely before sealing and refrigerating for easy access throughout the week.
Notes
These bowls can be stored in airtight containers in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. For longer storage, they can be frozen. Simply reheat before serving.
