Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients
  • 500 g all-purpose flour
  • 75 g sugar
  • 10 g salt
  • 10 g instant yeast
Wet Ingredients
  • 4 large eggs
  • 250 g unsalted butter, softened
  • 120 ml milk

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, salt, and yeast.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs and milk together.
  3. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until combined.
  4. Gradually add the softened butter, kneading until the dough is smooth and elastic.
Rising
  1. Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place until doubled in size, about 1 hour.
  2. Punch down the dough, shape it into a loaf or individual rolls, and place it in a greased baking pan.
  3. Let it rise again for about 30 minutes.
Baking
  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  3. Allow to cool before serving.

Notes

Store brioche in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days. For longer storage, wrap in plastic and freeze for up to 2 months. Thaw overnight at room temperature before serving.
