  • 2 tablespoons Cornstarch For thickening the gravy
  • 2 tablespoons Butter For making the gravy

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Place the turkey breast in the slow cooker.
  2. Add the chopped onion, minced garlic, thyme, and rosemary.
  3. Pour in the chicken broth, ensuring the turkey is well covered.
Cooking
  1. Cover and cook on low for about 6 to 8 hours, or until the turkey is tender and easily shreds apart with a fork.
Making the Gravy
  1. Once cooked, carefully remove the turkey from the slow cooker and transfer it to a serving platter.
  2. In a small saucepan, melt butter and whisk in cornstarch until smooth.
  3. Gradually add the cooking liquid from the slow cooker, stirring constantly until the gravy thickens.
Serving
  1. Serve the turkey with the homemade gravy drizzled over the slices.

Notes
