  • 1 can refrigerated biscuits Can use frozen biscuits, just thaw before cutting.
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk Can substitute with half-and-half or non-dairy milk.
  • 1 cup shredded cheese Use cheddar or your favorite type.
  • 1 cup cooked sausage or bacon Optional ingredient.
Vegetables (Optional)
  • 1/2 cup chopped bell peppers Optional ingredient.
  • 1/2 cup chopped onions Optional ingredient.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a greased baking dish, cut the biscuits into quarters and spread them across the bottom.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  4. Pour the egg mixture over the biscuits, ensuring everything is evenly coated.
  5. Sprinkle shredded cheese, cooked sausage or bacon, bell peppers, and onions on top, distributing them evenly.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the eggs are set and the top is golden brown.
  2. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving, allowing it to set up a little for easier slicing.

Notes

Serve hot with a fresh fruit salad or yogurt. Leftovers can be refrigerated for 3-4 days or frozen for about 2 months. Reheat in the oven for best results.
