Ingredients
  

Dough Ingredients
  • 1 cup warm milk Temperature should be warm but not hot.
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened Use room temperature butter for easy spreading.
  • 2 large eggs
  • 4 cups all-purpose flour Measure correctly by spooning into the cup.
  • 1 packet instant yeast (2 1/4 tsp) Ensure yeast is active.
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
Filling Ingredients
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup raisins (optional) Can be omitted for a simpler flavor.
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional) Add for extra crunch.
Icing Ingredients
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk For icing.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In the bread machine, combine warm milk, sugar, butter, and eggs, and mix well.
  2. Add flour, yeast, and salt, then select the dough setting on your bread machine.
  3. Once the dough is ready, roll it out on a floured surface into a rectangle.
Filling and Shaping
  1. Spread softened butter over the dough, then sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon. Optionally, add raisins or nuts.
  2. Roll the dough tightly and cut it into individual rolls.
  3. Place the rolls in a greased baking pan and let them rise for about 30 minutes.
Baking
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until they turn golden brown.
Icing
  1. Mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract together, then drizzle over the cooled rolls.

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days. They can be refrigerated for a week or frozen for 3 months.
