Preparation
- Blend the pureed watermelon, heavy cream, milk, sugar, vanilla extract, lemon juice, and a pinch of salt in a blender or food processor until smooth.
- Pour the mixture into a bowl and let it chill in the refrigerator for about an hour.
- Once chilled, pour the mixture into your ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions.
- Scoop the ice cream into a container and freeze for at least 4 hours or until firm.
- Scoop a serving into a bowl, serve, and enjoy!
Notes
Store in an airtight container in the freezer for up to two weeks, best consumed within a week. Use parchment paper on the surface to minimize ice crystals.
