Ingredients
  

For the marinade
  • 2 tablespoons fish sauce
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 small red chili, chopped Adjust based on heat preference
For the main dish
  • 1 lb white fish fillets (tilapia or catfish) You can also use salmon or snapper.
  • Fresh cilantro or parsley for garnish For garnishing.
  • Cooked rice for serving

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, mix together the fish sauce, soy sauce, lime juice, garlic, sugar, and chopped chili.
  2. Marinate the fish fillets in the sauce for at least 30 minutes.
Cooking
  1. Preheat a grill or frying pan over medium heat.
  2. Cook the fish for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until it flakes easily with a fork.
Serving
  1. Serve hot over rice, garnished with fresh cilantro or parsley.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Reheat in a skillet over medium heat.
