Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, cornstarch, salt, baking powder, and baking soda. Set aside.
  3. In another bowl, cream together the unsalted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the egg, egg yolks, and vanilla extract to the butter mixture, mixing until well combined.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing just until combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips and chopped walnuts, making sure they are evenly distributed throughout the dough.
Baking
  1. Scoop out rounded tablespoons of the dough onto a lined baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  2. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden but the centers are still soft.
  3. Remove from the oven and let them cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
