Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare the brownie mix according to package instructions, using the eggs, oil, and water.
- Pour the brownie batter into a greased baking dish and bake for about 25-30 minutes until set. Allow it to cool.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the chocolate pudding mix and milk until smooth. Let it set for about 5 minutes.
Assembly
- Once the brownie layer has cooled, spread the pudding over the brownies.
- Top with whipped cream, chocolate chips, and nuts if desired.
- Drizzle chocolate sauce on top.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving.
Notes
Chill helps the layers meld together. You can prepare the dessert a day in advance and store it covered in the refrigerator.
