Ingredients
  

Churro Dough Ingredients
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter Use unsalted for better control over seasoning.
  • 2 eggs Can be substituted with a flaxseed egg for an egg-free version.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
Coating
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup sugar (for coating)
Other
  • 1 can Cooking spray For air frying.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a saucepan, combine water, butter, and 2 tablespoons sugar. Bring to a boil.
  2. Stir in flour and salt until the mixture forms a ball.
  3. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  4. Add eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth.
  5. Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  6. Spoon dough into a piping bag and pipe small bites onto parchment paper.
  7. Spray churro bites with cooking spray.
Cooking
  1. Air fry for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
  2. In a bowl, mix 1/4 cup sugar and cinnamon.
  3. Roll churro bites in the cinnamon-sugar mixture while still warm.
  4. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or chocolate sauce. Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 2 months. Reheat in air fryer at 350°F (175°C) for about 5 minutes.
