Preparation
- In a saucepan, combine water, butter, and 2 tablespoons sugar. Bring to a boil.
- Stir in flour and salt until the mixture forms a ball.
- Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
- Add eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth.
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Spoon dough into a piping bag and pipe small bites onto parchment paper.
- Spray churro bites with cooking spray.
Cooking
- Air fry for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
- In a bowl, mix 1/4 cup sugar and cinnamon.
- Roll churro bites in the cinnamon-sugar mixture while still warm.
- Serve and enjoy!
Notes
Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or chocolate sauce. Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 2 months. Reheat in air fryer at 350°F (175°C) for about 5 minutes.
