Preparation
- Add the fresh strawberries to a blender or food processor and blend until smooth. If you prefer a smoother consistency, strain through a fine mesh sieve to remove any seeds.
- Stir in the granulated sugar until fully dissolved. Taste the mixture and adjust sweetness by adding more sugar if desired.
- Pour in the freshly squeezed lemon juice and cold water. Stir well to combine all the ingredients.
- Chill the mixture in the fridge for at least 1 hour to enhance the flavors.
- Just before serving, add lemon-lime soda or sparkling water to the punch.
- Fill glasses with ice, then pour the punch over the ice. Garnish with strawberry slices, lemon wheels, and mint leaves, if desired.
- For an adult version, add a splash of vodka, rum, or prosecco just before serving for an extra kick.
Notes
To store, keep any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. For less fizz, use still water instead of soda.
