  • 2 boxes Vanilla Wafers
  • 6 to 8 pieces bananas, sliced Use ripe bananas for best flavor
  • 2 cups milk Can use half-and-half for a creamier texture
  • 1 container strawberries Choose bright red, firm strawberries
  • 1 5 oz box French Vanilla pudding
  • 1 8 oz package cream cheese
  • 1 14 oz can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 12 oz container whipped topping For homemade whipped cream, beat heavy cream until stiff peaks form

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese and sweetened condensed milk until smooth.
  2. Add the French Vanilla pudding and milk to the mixture and stir until well combined.
  3. In a large serving dish, layer the vanilla wafers at the bottom.
  4. Add a generous layer of sliced bananas and strawberries.
  5. Pour half of the pudding mixture over the fruit and wafers.
  6. Repeat the layers with the remaining vanilla wafers, fruit, and finish with the pudding mixture on top.
  7. Spread the whipped topping evenly over the final layer.
  8. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.

Notes

Store covered in the refrigerator; best enjoyed within 3 to 4 days. Assemble a day early for best flavor.
