  • 1 pound ground beef Can substitute with ground turkey for a leaner option.
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped For garnish.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • to taste salt
  • to taste pepper
Cooking Ingredients
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, green onions, garlic, breadcrumbs, egg, salt, and pepper. Mix well and form into meatballs.
Cooking
  1. Place the meatballs and broccoli on a baking sheet.
  2. In a small saucepan, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, cornstarch, and sesame oil. Heat over medium heat until the mixture thickens.
  3. Drizzle this sauce over the meatballs and broccoli.
  4. Bake for 20-25 minutes until the meatballs are cooked through.

Notes

Ensure the meatballs are evenly sized for even cooking. Feel free to customize the sauce with your favorite ingredients, like ginger or chili flakes. For a lighter version, you can substitute ground beef with ground turkey or chicken.
