Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C). If you have a pizza stone, place it in the oven while it preheats.
- Lightly dust a baking sheet or pizza peel with cornmeal to prevent sticking.
- On a lightly floured surface, stretch or roll out your pizza dough into a 12-inch circle.
- Transfer the dough to your prepared pan or peel. Brush the edges of the dough lightly with olive oil.
Adding the Toppings
- Spread the Alfredo sauce evenly over the dough, leaving about an inch of space around the edges for the crust.
- Sprinkle the minced garlic over the sauce.
- Layer the chopped spinach across the pizza.
- Cover the spinach with a generous layer of shredded mozzarella followed by Parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes.
Baking and Serving
- Slide the pizza into the oven and bake for 12 to 15 minutes until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
- Remove the pizza from the oven and let it rest for 2 to 3 minutes before slicing.
- Slice into wedges and serve immediately.
Notes
For best results, use fresh spinach and grate your own cheese. Customize with grilled chicken or other toppings as desired.
