Ingredients
  

For the crust
  • 1 medium spaghetti squash Cut in half and seeds scooped out
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • to taste Salt and pepper
For the toppings
  • 1/2 cup marinara sauce
  • to taste Toppings of choice (e.g., halal pepperoni, mushrooms, bell peppers, onions) Customize as preferred

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Cut the spaghetti squash in half lengthwise and scoop out the seeds.
  3. Place the squash halves cut-side down on a baking sheet and bake for about 30-40 minutes until tender.
  4. Once cooled, use a fork to scrape the flesh into strands.
Crust Assembly
  1. In a bowl, combine the squash strands with mozzarella, Parmesan, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  2. Spread the mixture onto a pizza stone or baking sheet to form a crust.
  3. Bake for an additional 15 minutes until the crust is golden.
Topping and Final Baking
  1. Spread marinara sauce on top and add your favorite toppings.
  2. Bake again for 10-15 minutes until the cheese is bubbly.
  3. Slice and enjoy your healthy pizza!

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven or microwave, adding extra marinara sauce or cheese if desired.
