Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface and cut it into squares.
- Place a spoonful of smoked brisket and a spoonful of beer cheese sauce in the center of each square.
- Fold the dough over the filling and pinch the edges to seal.
- Brush the tops with beaten egg and sprinkle with coarse sea salt.
- Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for about 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- Serve warm with mustard or your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
Chill the filled pretzels before baking to help them hold their shape. Using a pizza cutter makes cutting the dough squares easier. Enhance the filling flavor with spices or jalapeños.
