  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Preparation
  1. Let the butter come to room temperature and beat it until light and fluffy.
  2. Slowly add in the caramel sauce while mixing on low speed.
  3. Gradually incorporate the sifted powdered sugar in batches.
  4. Add heavy cream and vanilla extract, and beat until smooth.
  5. Sprinkle in sea salt and mix again. Taste and adjust as needed.

Notes

Store any leftover frosting in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week. Rewhip before use if chilled.
