  • 1 lb 1 lb breakfast sausage (pork or turkey), casing removed

  • 1.5 cups 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (sharp or mild)
Seasonings
  • 0.5 teaspoon 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage until browned. Drain excess grease.
  3. Cut the biscuit dough into quarters and spread them evenly in the baking dish.
  4. Sprinkle cooked sausage evenly over biscuit pieces.
  5. Add the shredded cheddar cheese on top.
  6. In a mixing bowl, whisk eggs, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  7. Pour the egg mixture evenly over the contents in the baking dish.
Baking
  1. Bake for 35–40 minutes until the top is golden and the center is set.
  2. Let it cool for 5–10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

Feel free to mix in your favorite veggies like spinach, mushrooms, or bell peppers into the sausage mixture for added nutrition. For spiciness, consider adding diced jalapeños or using spicy sausage.
