Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the puff pastry sheets and cut them into tree shapes using a template or knife.
- Place the tree shapes on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Brush the pastry with egg wash for a golden finish.
Baking
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden and puffed.
- While the pastry cools, prepare the cranberry glaze by simmering cranberries, sugar, and water in a saucepan until the cranberries burst and the mixture thickens.
- Strain the glaze if desired.
Assembly
- Assemble by placing burrata cheese on top of the baked puff pastry trees and drizzling with cranberry glaze.
- Garnish with fresh herbs if using and serve warm.
Notes
Best served warm for optimal creaminess. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two days.
