Ingredients
  

Tea Preparation Ingredients
  • 2 cups water For boiling
  • 2 bags black tea bags Or 2 tablespoons loose black tea
Flavor Ingredients
  • 1 cup pomegranate juice 100% pure juice
  • 1 tablespoon dried rose petals Edible dried rose petals
  • to taste Honey or sweetener Optional
Garnish Ingredients
  • Fresh pomegranate seeds Optional for garnish
  • Lemon slices Optional for garnish

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Boil the water in a small pot and then remove it from heat when it reaches a rolling boil.
  2. Add the black tea bags or loose tea to the pot and steep for about 5 minutes, depending on your desired strength.
  3. After steeping, remove the tea bags or strain the loose tea. Pour in the pomegranate juice and stir well to combine.
  4. Add the dried rose petals and let the mixture sit for another 5 minutes to infuse the flavors.
  5. Strain the tea into serving cups or a teapot to remove the rose petals.
  6. Sweeten your tea to taste with honey or your preferred sweetener, if desired.
  7. Serve hot, or let it cool before serving over ice. Garnish with fresh pomegranate seeds and lemon slices if you like.

Notes

To store leftover tea, cool it to room temperature and store it in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Consume within 2-3 days. The flavors may become more pronounced after storing.
