Ingredients
  

For the Brie
  • 1 round round of brie cheese Choose a good-quality brie for best flavor.
  • 1 cup pistachios, crushed If unsalted, crush them in a zip-top bag.
  • 1/2 cup fig jam Can substitute with any fruit preserves.
  • 1 tablespoon honey (optional) Adds sweetness if desired.
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil Used to mix with crushed pistachios.
For Serving
  • to taste Crackers or sliced baguette Choose gluten-free options if necessary.

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Remove the brie from its packaging and place it on a baking sheet.
  3. In a bowl, mix the crushed pistachios and olive oil until well combined.
  4. Coat the top of the brie with the pistachio mixture, pressing it down to ensure it adheres well.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-15 minutes, until the brie is soft and melty.
  2. While the brie is baking, warm the fig jam (and honey, if using) in a small saucepan over low heat until melted.
  3. Once the brie is done, remove it from the oven and drizzle the fig jam glaze over the top.
Serving
  1. Serve warm with your choice of crackers or sliced baguette.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for 2-3 days. Reheat at a low temperature in the oven.
