Ingredients
  

For the pastry
  • 1 sheet puff pastry Thawed if frozen
  • 1 round Brie cheese
  • 1/2 cup cranberry sauce
  • 1/2 cup chopped pistachios
  • 1 each egg For egg wash
  • as needed tablespoon Flour For dusting
  • to taste teaspoon Salt

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface until it reaches about 1/8-inch thick.
  3. Cut the pastry into a Christmas tree shape, reserving the trimmings for later use.
  4. Place the Brie in the center of the tree and spread cranberry sauce generously over the cheese.
  5. Sprinkle the chopped pistachios over the cranberry sauce.
  6. Fold the pastry over the Brie, sealing the edges carefully.
  7. Brush the entire surface with beaten egg.
Baking
  1. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and puffed.
  2. Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Serve warm with crackers, nuts, or fresh fruit. Garnish with fresh herbs for an enhanced presentation. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
