- Cut the French bread into 1-inch cubes and place them in a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a mixing bowl, blend the cream cheese with a hand mixer until creamy.
- Add the eggs, milk, heavy cream, sugar, vanilla, and cinnamon, and mix until fully combined.
- Pour the mixture over the bread cubes, ensuring they are well soaked. Gently fold in the chopped peaches.
- In another bowl, mix together the flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Cut in the chilled butter until you achieve a crumbly texture.
- Sprinkle the topping over the French toast mixture.
- Bake for 45-55 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the custard is set. Let it cool slightly before serving.

Use day-old bread for the best absorption; experiment with other fruits. This dish can be prepared the night before for convenience.
