  • 1 Ripe Peach Ripe Peach Opt for a fragrant peach that yields slightly to pressure; canned or frozen can work in a pinch.
  • 2 cups Water Filtered or bottled water will yield the best results.
  • 1 tablespoon Honey Honey dissolves best in warm tea; consider using agave syrup for a similar effect if preferred.

  1. In a medium saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a boil.
  2. Once boiling, add the dried hibiscus flowers. Let it simmer for about 10-15 minutes, allowing the hibiscus to steep and develop its rich color.
  3. While the tea is simmering, wash and slice the ripe peach, removing the pit.
  4. After boiling, strain the tea to remove the hibiscus flowers, then return the liquid to the saucepan.
  5. Stir in the fresh peach slices and honey, letting them infuse their flavors into the tea for about 5 minutes.
  6. If you prefer an iced tea, let the mixture cool before pouring it over ice.
  7. Serve the tea warm or chilled in a glass, and enjoy the beautiful sunset color!
