  • 2 cans 15.25 oz each sliced peaches in syrup
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
  • to taste chopped nuts (optional)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Pour canned peaches with syrup into a greased 9x13-inch baking dish.
  3. Evenly sprinkle dry cake mix over the peaches.
  4. Pour melted butter evenly over the cake mix.
  5. Bake for 45 to 50 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
  6. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Serve warm, ideally with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3-4 days.
