Ingredients
  

For the Peanut Sauce
  • cup creamy peanut butter Use a quality natural peanut butter for the best results.
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoons rice vinegar
  • 2 cups broth or water Use broth for more flavor.
  • 2–4 tablespoons chili crisp Optional, for spice.
For the Dumplings
  • 14–20 pieces frozen dumplings Use more for larger servings.
  • 2 cups broccoli florets, trimmed Cut into small pieces.
For Garnish
  • ¼ cup sliced green onions
  • ¼ cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare a medium casserole dish or oven-safe braiser.
  2. Pour the broth into the baking dish and add peanut butter, minced garlic, soy sauce, and rice vinegar. Whisk until mostly smooth.
Assembly
  1. Place the frozen dumplings flat-side down into the sauce and spoon some sauce over each dumpling to coat them.
  2. Arrange the broccoli florets around the dumplings, ensuring they are partially covered by the sauce.
Baking
  1. Cover the dish with a lid or foil and bake for 20 minutes.
  2. Remove the cover and stir the sauce gently. Let sit uncovered for 5 minutes to thicken slightly.
Serving
  1. Sprinkle with green onions, cilantro, sesame seeds, and chili crisp, if desired.
  2. Serve directly from the baking dish and enjoy.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the microwave or oven until warmed through, ensuring the dumplings don't dry out. For longer storage, you can freeze the baked dumplings for up to 2 months.
