Method
 

Preparation
  1. Peel and mash the bananas in a bowl until smooth.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix together the heavy cream, whole milk, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until the sugar is dissolved.
  3. Stir in the mashed bananas and a pinch of salt until well combined.
Churning
  1. Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions until it reaches soft-serve consistency.
Freezing
  1. Transfer the ice cream to a container and freeze for at least 4 hours or until firm.
