Crust
  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
Filling
  • 1 package cream cheese, softened (8 oz)
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup orange juice preferably freshly squeezed
  • 1 tbsp orange zest
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs with melted butter until combined. Press into the bottom of a springform pan to form the crust. Chill in the refrigerator.
  2. In a mixing bowl, beat softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
  3. In another bowl, whip heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
  4. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture.
  5. Add orange juice, orange zest, and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
  6. Pour the mixture over the crust in the springform pan.
  7. Chill for at least 4 hours or overnight until set.
  8. Serve chilled and enjoy!

Notes

Ensure cream cheese is softened for easy mixing. Use fresh orange juice for more flavor. This cheesecake can be topped with orange slices or whipped cream before serving.
