Ingredients
  

Crust and Ice Cream Layers
  • 1 pre-made graham cracker crust
  • 1 pint vanilla ice cream Let soften slightly before spreading.
  • 1 cup chocolate ice cream Let soften slightly before spreading.
Toppings
  • 1/2 cup crushed nuts Peanuts or almonds.
  • 1/2 cup chocolate sauce For drizzling and topping.
  • 1 cup whipped cream Use stabilizing whipped cream if preferred.
  • to taste Maraschino cherries For topping before serving.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Let the vanilla ice cream soften slightly at room temperature, then spread it evenly into the bottom of the graham cracker crust.
  2. Add a layer of chocolate ice cream on top of the vanilla layer, smoothing it out.
  3. Drizzle chocolate sauce over the chocolate ice cream layer and sprinkle crushed nuts on top.
  4. Spread whipped cream on top and add dollops of chocolate sauce and additional nuts if desired.
  5. Freeze the pie for at least 4 hours or until firm.
Serving
  1. Before serving, top with maraschino cherries and additional chocolate sauce if desired.
  2. Serve straight from the freezer for best texture. Slice into wedges and enjoy.

Notes

To store, cover the pie tightly with plastic wrap or aluminum foil and keep in the freezer. It can last up to two weeks.
