For the Mug Cake
  • 1/4 cup Greek yogurt Can use non-fat Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup Honey can be substituted with maple syrup or agave nectar
  • 1 piece egg Can use 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce or 1 tablespoon ground flaxseed mixed with 3 tablespoons water as an egg substitute
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • Pinch salt
  • As desired chocolate chips or fruits for topping Optional

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a microwave-safe mug, mix together the Greek yogurt, honey, egg, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  2. Add in the flour, baking powder, and salt, and stir until well combined.
  3. If desired, fold in chocolate chips or fruits.
Cooking
  1. Microwave on high for about 1 minute, or until the cake is set and springs back when touched.
  2. Let it cool for a minute before enjoying!

Notes
