Ingredients
  

For the Chicken Marinade
  • 4 pieces Chicken breasts Boneless, skinless
  • 1/4 cup Lemon juice Freshly squeezed
  • 3 cloves Garlic Minced
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil Extra virgin for best flavor
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Pepper
For Assembling the Wraps
  • 4 pieces Pita bread Whole wheat or regular
  • 1 cup Cucumber Sliced
  • 1 cup Tomato Diced
  • 1/2 cup Red onion Thinly sliced
  • 1 cup Romaine lettuce Shredded
  • 1/2 cup Mediterranean-style sauce Like tzatziki or tahini

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Marinate the chicken breasts in lemon juice, minced garlic, olive oil, salt, and pepper for at least 30 minutes.
Cooking
  1. Cook the chicken on a grill or skillet until fully cooked, about 6-7 minutes per side.
  2. Slice the cooked chicken into strips.
Assembly
  1. Warm the pita bread slightly in a pan or microwave.
  2. Assemble the wraps by layering sliced chicken, cucumber, tomato, red onion, and romaine lettuce inside the pita bread.
  3. Drizzle with Mediterranean-style sauce and enjoy!

Notes
