Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a baking dish, place the feta cheese in the center. Surround it with cherry tomatoes and olives.
- Drizzle olive oil over the feta and vegetables, and sprinkle with dried oregano, salt, and pepper.
- Bake for about 20 minutes, or until the feta is soft and begins to brown.
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Garnish with fresh herbs.
- Serve warm with soft pita bread.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. Reheat in the oven to restore melting texture. Variations include adding sliced bell peppers or substituting feta with goat cheese.
