Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the maple syrup, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
- Scoop tablespoon-sized amounts of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, leaving space between each cookie as they will spread while baking.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden and the centers are set.
- Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days. Freeze for extended storage for up to three months. Let thaw at room temperature before enjoying.
