Ingredients
  

Ice Cream Base
  • 2 cups heavy cream Chilled
  • 1 cup whole milk Chilled
  • 3/4 cup sugar Granulated
  • 1/2 cup malted milk powder For malt flavor
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract For flavor
Mix-Ins
  • 1/2 cup toffee bits For crunch
  • 1/2 cup crushed malted milk balls For additional texture

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, whole milk, sugar, malted milk powder, and vanilla extract until everything is combined and the sugar has dissolved.
  2. Pour the mixture into your ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions.
  3. A few minutes before churning is complete, add the toffee bits and crushed malted milk balls.
  4. Once churning is done, transfer the ice cream into a lidded container and freeze for at least 4 hours until firm.
Serving
  1. Scoop the ice cream into bowls or cones and enjoy as is, or garnish with extra toffee bits or chopped nuts.

Notes

Always chill your ingredients before mixing for better creaminess. Leftover ice cream can be used in milkshakes or ice cream sandwiches.
