Preparation and Dredging
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In one dish, mix the breadcrumbs, half of the Parmesan cheese, and the Italian seasoning.
- In another bowl, beat together the eggs and milk.
- In a third dish, place the flour.
- Coat each chicken breast in flour, then dip into the egg mixture, and finally press into the breadcrumb mixture.
Cooking
- Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Cook the chicken pieces for 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown.
- Transfer the chicken to a baking dish.
- In a bowl, mix the remaining Parmesan, mozzarella, and minced garlic, then spread over each chicken breast.
Baking
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, until the chicken is cooked through and the cheese is melted.
Notes
Serve hot with a garden salad, mashed potatoes, or roasted vegetables. Reheat in the oven for best results.
