  • 4 pieces boneless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup heavy cream For a lighter version, use half-and-half.
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese Can substitute with nutritional yeast for a dairy-free version.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder Adjust to taste.
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning Adjust to taste.
  • to taste Salt and pepper For seasoning.
  • to taste Chopped parsley For garnish.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
  3. Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
  4. Add chicken to the skillet and cook until browned on both sides, about 5 minutes each side.
  5. Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside.
Cooking
  1. In the same skillet, add heavy cream and chicken broth.
  2. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and combined.
  3. Return chicken to the skillet, spoon sauce over the top, and transfer to the oven.
  4. Bake for 20-25 minutes until the chicken is cooked through.
  5. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

If you have leftovers, store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. For freezing, ensure it’s completely cooled before transferring to a freezer-safe container. Thaw in the fridge overnight before reheating.
