Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the pork sausage, softened cream cheese, drained Rotel tomatoes, biscuit mix, and shredded cheddar cheese (if using).
- Mix all ingredients thoroughly until well combined.
- Roll the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
- Place the sausage balls on an ungreased baking sheet.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Serve hot.
Notes
These sausage balls are best enjoyed fresh out of the oven. Can be served with various dips, garnishes, or as part of a breakfast combination.
