  • 1 pound ground beef Lean ground beef preferred
  • 1 tablespoon hot honey Adjust based on spice preference
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil For roasting sweet potatoes
  • 1 teaspoon salt To taste, divided
  • 1 teaspoon pepper To taste, divided

  • 1 medium avocado Sliced
  • 1/2 cup sour cream Or Greek yogurt

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Peel and cube the sweet potatoes, then toss them with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  3. Spread the sweet potatoes on a baking sheet and roast for about 25-30 minutes until tender.
Cooking
  1. In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned and fully cooked.
  2. Season the beef with salt, pepper, and hot honey to taste.

  1. Assemble the bowls by layering roasted sweet potatoes, ground beef, sliced avocado, and toppings like sour cream, green onions, and cilantro.
  2. Serve warm.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. Reheat in the microwave until warmed through. For longer storage, keep sweet potatoes and beef separate.
