  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
Wet Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs Use room temperature for better incorporation.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Optional Add-ins
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips or nuts For added texture.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt until well combined.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix the melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract. Stir until smooth.
Mixing
  1. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined; be careful not to overmix.
  2. If desired, fold in chocolate chips or nuts for extra taste.
Baking
  1. Pour the mixture into the greased baking dish and bake for about 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  2. Let it cool for a few minutes before cutting into squares.

Notes
