  • 1/2 cup Extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/4 cup Balsamic vinegar
  • 2 cloves Garlic cloves Mince before adding
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh herbs (rosemary, thyme, basil) Finely chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon Red pepper flakes Optional, adjust to taste

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a small bowl, combine the extra virgin olive oil and balsamic vinegar.
  2. Mince the garlic cloves and add them to the oil mixture.
  3. Finely chop the fresh herbs and stir them into the mixture.
  4. Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes to taste.
  5. Let the mixture sit for at least 30 minutes for the flavors to meld before serving.
Serving
  1. Serve with warm, crusty bread.
