  • 2 cups heavy cream Use high-quality heavy cream for the best flavor.
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar Adjust to taste.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup Baileys Irish Cream For non-alcoholic version, substitute with non-alcoholic Irish cream.
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the heavy cream, whole milk, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, Baileys Irish Cream, and cocoa powder. Whisk until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
  2. Pour the mixture into your ice cream maker and churn it according to the manufacturer's instructions, usually about 25-30 minutes.
  3. Transfer the churned ice cream to a freezer-safe container and let it freeze for at least 4 hours or until firm.

Notes

Serve plain or top with whipped cream and chocolate shavings. Store in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 2 weeks. Allow to soften for a few minutes at room temperature before scooping.
