Ingredients
  

For the meatballs
  • 1 lb ground turkey Lean protein
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs For binding the meatballs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese Adds flavor
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley Fresh herbs enhance flavor
  • 1 each egg Acts as a binder
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced For flavor
  • 1 tsp dried oregano Traditional Greek herb
  • to taste Salt and pepper For seasoning
For the tzatziki
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt Base for the sauce
  • 1/2 each cucumber, grated and drained Adds freshness
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice For acidity
  • 1 clove garlic, minced For flavor
  • to taste Salt For seasoning

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, egg, garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Form the mixture into meatballs (about 1 inch in diameter) and place them on a baking sheet.
Cooking
  1. Bake the meatballs for 20-25 minutes or until cooked through.
Making the tzatziki
  1. In a bowl, mix Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, lemon juice, garlic, and salt.
Serving
  1. Serve the meatballs with tzatziki on the side.

Notes

Store any leftover meatballs in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days, and tzatziki can be kept for up to 3 days.
