  • 2 cups mixed vegetables (e.g., bell peppers, broccoli, carrots) Feel free to use any vegetables you enjoy.
  • 4 cups cooked fried rice Can use pre-cooked or leftover rice.
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce Substitute with gluten-free tamari if needed.
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil Can be substituted with vegetable or olive oil.
  • to taste salt and pepper For seasoning.
  • as needed green onions For garnish.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Slice the sirloin steak into strips and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat sesame oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
Cooking
  1. Add the steak strips and cook until browned, about 4-5 minutes.
  2. Add mixed vegetables and soy sauce, cooking until the veggies are tender, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Serve the steak and veggies over a bed of fried rice.
  4. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.

Notes

For added flavor, consider marinating the steak before cooking. Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in a skillet over medium heat.
