Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking dish with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mix the crushed Oreo cookies and melted butter until well combined. Press the mixture into the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
- In another bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the lemon pudding mix and milk until thickened. Fold in whipped cream or cool whip.
- Combine the lemon mixture with the cream cheese mixture. Add lemon zest and fresh lemon juice to taste. Mix well.
- Spread the lemon cream mixture evenly over the Oreo crust.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until set.
- Before serving, sprinkle additional Oreo crumbs on top. Cut into bars and enjoy!
Notes
These dessert bars are versatile and can be served for various occasions. For a pop of color, add fresh lemon slices or mint leaves on top.
