  • 1 tsp baking powder

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a small cake pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the whole wheat flour and baking powder.
  3. In another bowl, mix the mashed banana, applesauce, vanilla extract, and milk until well combined.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and stir until just combined.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.
Baking
  1. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  2. Let it cool completely before removing from the pan.
