Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients
  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup coconut sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon Plus extra for dusting
Wet Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1/4 cup almond milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • as needed spray coconut oil For spraying on baking sheet

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix together whole wheat flour, coconut sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. In another bowl, combine applesauce, almond milk, and vanilla extract.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
  5. Use a spoon to scoop out small amounts of dough and form them into bite-sized balls.
  6. Place the balls on the prepared baking sheet and spray lightly with coconut oil.
Baking
  1. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
