- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef until browned.
- Add the diced onion and sliced mushrooms, sautéing until softened.
- Stir in the minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
- Add the green beans and broth, covering the skillet to steam the beans until tender.
- Reduce heat to low and stir in the sour cream, cream cheese, thyme, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper until the sauce is creamy.
- Top the mixture with shredded Colby jack cheese.
- Cover and cook for 2 to 3 minutes or until the cheese is completely melted and bubbling.
- Serve warm straight from the skillet.
Notes
For an extra kick, add red pepper flakes. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days in the fridge or freeze for later.
