  • 1 medium onion, diced Provides flavor and texture.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Adds a fragrant taste.
  • 1 tsp cumin For a warm, earthy flavor.
  • 1 tsp chili powder Adds a bit of heat.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef with diced onions until translucent (about 5-7 minutes).
  3. Add minced garlic, cumin, and chili powder; sauté for another minute until fragrant.
  4. Spoon the beef mixture onto each tortilla, roll tightly, and place seam-side down in a greased baking dish.
  5. Pour enchilada sauce over the tortillas and sprinkle with cheese.
Baking
  1. Bake uncovered for 20-25 minutes until bubbly and golden.

Notes

For added flavor, consider using taco seasoning instead of cumin and chili powder. You can also mix in your favorite veggies like bell peppers or black beans into the beef mixture. If you want extra cheese, sprinkle some inside the tortillas before rolling them up.
