  • 2 medium zucchinis, sliced into rounds

  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • ΒΌ cup soy sauce (or tamari for a gluten-free option)
  • 2 tablespoons honey or agave syrup
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • Fresh herbs for garnish (like cilantro or parsley)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Season the steak with salt and pepper. Let it sit at room temperature for 15-20 minutes.
Make the Sauce
  1. In a small bowl, whisk together the minced garlic, soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, and rice vinegar. Set aside.
Grill the Zucchini
  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high. Toss the zucchini slices with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Grill for 3-4 minutes per side.
Grill the Steak
  1. Cook the steak on the grill for about 4-6 minutes per side for desired doneness. Use a meat thermometer for precision.
Rest and Slice
  1. Remove the steak from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes. Slice against the grain.
Assemble the Bowl
  1. In a bowl, place the grilled zucchini, top with sliced steak, and drizzle generously with the sauce. Garnish with fresh herbs.
